Laidlaw Tank has 500+ trailers available for service, both liquid and dry bulk. The dry bulk fleet consists of 6 axles (perfect for Michigan), B trains with suitable axle spacing to achieve high payloads between Ontario and Quebec, within Quebec or throughout Canada. Three and four axles with N.Y. State issued permits which allow for payloads in excess of 35 tons in N.Y. state as well as regular tandem units which are ideal throughout the U.S. and specialized slurry equipment, which bridges the gap between the liquid and dry bulk components of the division.
The liquid fleet is largely food grade related with many larger sized (6-8,500 imp. Gallon) multi-axle and multi compartment trailers which are best suited for the Ontario and Quebec markets. Three and four axles with N.Y. State issued permits which allow for payloads in excess of 35 tons in N.Y. state as well as single compartment tandem units.
The liquid tank division also maintains a separate fleet of stainless steel insulated tankers, including tandems, multi-axle and B train trailers suitable for carrying manufactured chemicals, performance products, lubricants and corrosive materials. Multi compartment units are also available and all are equipped with in-transit heat plus steam heating capability.
